  • Lala love you Cowl for the Knitabulls Feb KAL out of Malabrigo Rios in the Cumparista colorway on US 8 Hiya Hiya sharps 16" cable.
  • Yoga socks for Carla, my yoga instructor. Debbie Bliss yarn in Twilight colorway. Knit on US 1.5 Chiao Goo red-lace needles.
Works in Progress -
  • Hogwarts Express - In No Two Snowflakes yarn in the Godric's Hollow colorway (in keeping with the HP theme of course!)
  • Straun Take 2 for my brother out of Cascade Eco Alpaca, on my new KnitPicks interchangeable needles, US 5.
  • Hermione's Quidditch socks are on hold until I get a few other things off the needles. Will try to get them done for Studentknits Statistics KAL.
  • Mittens for Me MKAL - frogged. Glad I participated and I learned a lot, but they are not my style.
Upcoming Projects - 
No spinning this week.

Fitness - 
  • Walking 2 miles/yoga
  • Not eating properly "90% diet, 10% exercise" so not seeing a change in weight.
  • 3 pounds loss in 5 weeks. Might check if the thyroid is an issue.

7 Books for Learning How to Knit There has been a resurgence of crafts and learning how to make things ever since the pandemic locked us in our houses for over a year in 2020. One of those crafts is my personal favorite - knitting. I have spent over a decade teaching people to knit and spreading the love of all things fiber arts and now, it seems everyone knits, or wants to! I have searched the interwebs and have found seven books that I believe will help you learn my favorite craft. But let's get our crafts straight first.
